I AM MANDAUE shop

BUSINESS AFTER BUSINESS - Girlie Garces - The Freeman

The #I AM MANDAUE  shop located at the second floor of the Times Square Building across Parkmall, in Mandaue City is a place to visit.

It does not only display a wide variety of Mandaue-made products but it also gives one an insight into the creative and dynamic partnership of both business and the local government in promoting the essence of an Mandauehanon.

The shop showcases different products which one would not expect are made in Mandaue City.  From handicrafts, furniture, food, beverages garments, agricultural inputs, industrial components and other items, Mandaue seems to have it all.

The intricate designs of  Classical Geometry by Clayton Tugonon demonstrates a Mandauehanon’s  creativity.  The simple, yet elegant presentations of APY Cane owned and managed Noreen Yu-Tan,  the refreshing outdoor  furniture creations of Coast Pacific of Tina Lo and the graceful eclectic workmanship of Mastercraft owned and managed by Eric Ng Mendoza  represent the rich assembly of genius and innovation.

Souvenir items made in Mandaue are great picks for the guest who want to take with them a bit of their city.  Other goods made in Mandaue are represented in a wall collage that indicates the variety of  manufactured quality consumer products that Mandaue can offer.

The shop is managed by the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the City of Mandaue.

In the opening of the shop last Monday, August 17, Congressman Luigi Quisumbing expressed his appreciation of Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes’ passion and pride of Mandaue City’s thriving businesses.  He articulated his wish that other local government units would emulate this initiative that Mandaue has begun.

The food served during the cocktails that followed the opening ceremonies further enunciated the natural culinary artistry of the Mandauehanons as they served their delicacies in style, making new concoctions of the bibingkacentro, turonmaguikay, banilad slider, labogon special  (pizza binangos) and cua-paosaopao matched with casili cooler.  All the food were named after their barangay origins.

Take a trip then to Café Mandaue in the # I AM MANDAUE SHOP to have this great experience.
