MediaMind expands Cebu operations

CEBU, Philippines - New York-based integrated digital advertising solutions provider, MediaMind has announced its expansion in Cebu and to double its manpower count after observing the rich supply of creative talents here.

Media Mind, which has been operating in Cebu for about a year now, at the Asiatown IT Park, provides media and creative agencies, advertisers, and publishers with an integrated platform to manage campaigns across digital media channels and a variety of formats, including rich media, in-stream video, display and search.

In a press conference, Tamir Ata, vice president for online support, said that its decision to expand the service center in the Philippines, particularly Cebu stems from its positive experience here over the pas t year.

“The high-quality technical experience and knowledge of local employees combined with the central location of Cebu enables us to provide round-the-clock support to leading advertising brands worldwide,” Ata said.

At present, the Cebu service center has a total of 24 people, the facility is looking at doubling the manpower pool in the next few years, while the online campaign management demand has significantly grown.

Easily, he said the company will close the year with 45 people.

According to Ian Haigh the company’s director for support center the trend now on taking advantage the online channel for campaigns and advertising is growing at its fastest pace worldwide, Cebu operations is seen to lead the provision of the services of its growing clients worldwide.

“MediaMind is looking to hire the best and the brightest web experts in the country. Customer support is a key differentiator for us. By operating a sophisticated service center in the Philippine, we are able to provide our customers worldwide the real-time support they have come to expect from us,” Haigh said.

At present, MediaMind platform runs digital campaigns for 11,000 brand advertisers annually in 75 countries across the globe.
