26 wanted persons, tiklo sa 24-hour warrant operations ng QCPD
MANILA, Philippines — Bumagsak sa mga kamay ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD) ang 26 na wanted persons sa isinagawang 24-Hour Warrant Day Operations noong Hulyo 3.
Ayon kay QCPD Director PBGen. Randy Glenn Silvio, nadakip ang tatlong Regional-Level Most Wanted Persons (MWPs), isang Provincial-Level MWP, at limang District-Level MWPs.
Kabilang sa mga naaresto ang No. 10 Regional-Level MWP ng National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), na siya ring No. 2 Provincial-Level MWP ng Masbate City at No. 2 MWP ng Holy Spirit Police Station (PS 14). Nadakip ang suspek sa Barangay Asid, Masbate City sa bisa ng warrant of arrest para sa kasong rape na inilabas ng Quezon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 78.
Sa hiwalay na operasyon, nahuli sa Northern Samar ang No. 6 Regional-Level MWP ng NCRPO at No. 1 District-Level MWP ng QCPD na nahaharap sa kasong rape by sexual assault. Nadakip din ang iba pang district at station-level most wanted persons sa Quezon City at iba pang lalawigan dahil sa mga kasong rape, statutory rape, acts of lasciviousness, murder, attempted murder, attempted homicide, robbery, at paglabag sa Republic Act No. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Sinabi ni Silvio na ilan sa mga operasyon ay isinagawa sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB), at mga police unit sa Masbate, Northern Samar, Iloilo, at Leyte upang matunton ang mga nagtatagong akusado.
