Luigi nitubag sa iyang apohan
CEBU, Philippines – Gibarugan ni Mandaue City Mayor Gabriel Luis “Luigi” Quisumbing ang iyang pagkamayor nga naa siya’y katungdanan sa pagprotihir ug pagpreserba niini.
“I respect my lolo and have always been grateful for the support that he has given to me and to our family. However, I am now the father of the city with a duty to protect and preserve it”, matud ni Luigi.
Mahinumduman, niluwat og mensahe ang iyang apohan nga si Norberto Quisumbing, Jr. nga dili niya suportahan isip mayor ang iyang apo apan ang kaatbang niini ang iyang suportahan nga si Kongresista Jonas Cortes sa ikaunom nga distrito.
Matud ni Norberto nga walay igong basehan si Luigi nga pasirad-an ang usa ka bar. “The decision to close the business of a relative was a difficult one borne out of deep discernment and consultation with various departments of the city including the Philippine National Police and PDEA. This, however, I assure to all Mandauehanons, I will govern this city as fairly and justly as possible with the law applying to all and not exempting a favored few like a member of my family”, padayag ni Quisumbing.
Matud usab ni Luigi nga nanghinaot siya nga malamdagan ang iyang apohan nga ang iyang gibuhat alang sa kaayohan sa siyudad ug sa pagbuhi sa legasiya nga “excellence, honesty and integrity”.
Si Cortes sa iyang bahin, nagpasalamat sa pagsuporta ni Norberto sa iyang kandidatura isip mayor.
“I am thankful for the support of Dr. Norberto Quisumbing in our quest to bring good governance back to Mandaue City”, matud ni Cortes.
