C-Cimpel, PNP, nagpamisa pasalamat kagahapon

CEBU, Philippines - Ang Cebu Citizen’s Involvement and Maturation in People Empowerment and Liberation (C-CIMPEL) nga gikan sa tanang distrito sa Sugbu uban ni PNP Director General Jesus Verzosa mitambong sa gipahigayong “Thanksgiving Mass” kagahapon sa buntag sa Archbishop Palace.

Ang maong Santos nga Misa gipahigayon isip pasalamat sa hapsay og malinawong eleksyon sa Sugbu.

Gipasalamatan ni C-Cimpel Executive Director, Marilou Chongbian ang kapulisan, ang Armed Forces of the Philippine ug Commission on Elections gumikan sa kahapsay sa dagan sa piniliay niadtong Mayo 10 nga maoy labing unang higayon nga gigamit ang automated poll. Matud pa niini, base sa iyang kasinatian kumparar sa nanglabay’ng mga piniliay ang labing uwahing piniliay maoy angayang mahatagan og ‘highest evaluation’ tungod kay walay mga dagkong problemang mitumaw bisan pa man sa mga gagmay’ng problema sa mga Precinct Count Optical Scan machines.

Samtang si Verzosa dihang nahinabi sa mga tigbalita mikonsiderar sa miaging eleksyon nga malinawon gyud ug hapsay ug mapasalamaton sa tanang security forces ug ubang sektor nga miabag niini.

 “We credit this to the organization of the different security forces that are here, and even the participation of other sector societies especially the Cebu Citizen’s Involvement and Maturation in People Empowerment and Liberation (C-CIMPEL) in Coordination with Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV),” matud pa niya.

Sumala pang Verzosa nga ang direktang koordinasyon sa matag nalambigit nga sektor ngadto sa Comelec maoy nakatabang sa pagmentinar sa kalinaw ug kahapsay sa Central Visayas.

“The coordination with the Comelec, and the participation of all different organizations together with the active participation of all forces that bring down the number of valid incidents here and also the overall orderly conduct of elections in Visayas,” butyag pa niini.  – BANAT NEWS
