Woman electrocuted

SANTIAGO, Isabela, Philippines —  A woman was electrocuted in Barangay Dubinan East in this city yesterday morning.

Ruth Jean Sarmiento, 36, was about to use her karaoke when she suffered an electric shock when she touched the microphone. Her relatives said the floor was wet because she had just finished cleaning the house.

Sarmiento was pronounced dead on arrival at the Southern Isabela General Hospital.
