Farmer, 70, stabbed dead

MANAOAG, Pangasinan – A farmer was stabbed to death in Barangay Pao in this town on Sunday.

Herardo Cristobal, 70, was playing cards with construction worker Mark Louie Miran, 23, when they had a heated argument.

Miran reportedly went home to get a knife, followed the suspect on his way home and then stabbed him twice.

Cristobal was pronounced dead on arrival at the Manaoag Community Hospital. Miran was arrested in a follow-up operation.
