Boy, 4, drowns in river; 2 missing

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A four-year-old  boy drowned while two of his companions went missing  after they took a dip in a river near their house in Barangay Centro 5 in Claveria, Cagayan on Tuesday.

SPO3 Efren Bunagan identified the fatality as Rex Ivan Aludino.

The boy’s cousin, Krisel Aludino, 4; and classmate Anna Reah Mae Dalisay,  5, are missing.

Initial reports said the strong water current swept the victims away.
