Suspected illegal recruiter falls

MANILA, Philippines – A woman wanted for illegal recruitment and estafa was arrested by Bureau of Immigration (BI) personnel at the Zamboanga pier Thursday as she was about to leave the country.

The BI has been looking for Bless Grace Hernandez-Ardona for the past nine years. A warrant for her arrest was issued in 2007.

Ardona was caught before she boarded a ship bound for Sendakan, Malaysia. She was reportedly accompanied by several women when she was arrested.
