Jog with the mayor

JOIN IN. A city mayor visited a sports complex to do an afternoon jog. He called up the local police official to ask for uniformed policemen to join him in the jogging session. "Ganahan ra man unta mag-exercise si mayor, idamay pa gyud ang mga polis," The Ear informer said.

PREPARE. But here's the catch: a policeman who happened to accompany the mayor in his physical exercise overheard the mayor's men saying the jogging session was meant to prepare the mayor for the planned drug test for the officials and employees, although no longer a surprise because it has been announced a few weeks ago. The cop told The Ear: "Basin kuno dili kayahon sa Alpine. Maayo gyud kunong mag-jogging."

DRUG TEST. A surprise drug test for the employees is yet to be implemented in a city government, but the policeman told The Ear that if the mayor will undergo such drugtest which is pre-planned and for publicity sake, he threatened to criticize the mayor in the social media.
