Webber forever

“I mean I don’t really think about it. You know, do you know what I often say to myself? I think you’re very lucky in life if you know what you want to do.” —

Andrew Lloyd Webber

Hundreds of Andrew Lloyd Webber fans braved the strong rains and trooped to the Cultural Center of the Philippines to watch the gala premiere of the much-awaited musical spectacular The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. This breathtaking presentation featured a concert of Broadway and West End favorites coming from 14 hits, smashes and successes. The fantastic opening night was well-attended by a spectrum of guests from the business, banking, diplomatic and social sectors considered as the country’s crème de la crème. It was a truly heartwarming experience to witness such world-class performances, stunning set designs and state-of-the-art productions especially for people who really know musical concerts and have a symbiotic relationship with the timeless masterpieces from Evita, Phantom of the Opera, Cats and Jesus Christ Superstar. What a magnificent concert indeed! Bravo to the brilliant team of High Definition CEO Francis Lumen and Concertus, Inc. managing director Bambi Rivera-Verzo who can only give us this kind of show. But the best is yet to come — Stomp in November, Mamma Mia! in January and the biggest of them all coming soon — wait for it and wait for the news!
