CEPBA, Rustan’s notch sixth victory

CEBU, Philippines —  Team CEPBA and the Rustan’s squad cruised to their sixth win in Hoop Nation Developmental League (HNDL)-Sunday Night Hoops Season 2 powered by Sunsport at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Jacob Gaviola posted a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds as CEPBA bested the Unknown, 73-66, while Ketch Jakosalem fired 22 points on top of eight boards to power Rustan’s to an 81-69 drubbing of the Hoopers.

CEPBA now totes a 6-1 win-loss record while Rustan’s improved to 6-2, both good at second place in their respective divisions.

In the other result, Jacko Alega unloaded 26 points, seven rebounds and three assists as the Black Pirates (formerly Budget Repair) crushed RNK Builders, 81-68, for their fourth victory in 10 games. — EBV
