MANILA, Philippines — Thai star Nonkul Chanon gave a glimpse of his performance in the upcoming TNT Kilig Fest with his own version of Pinoy classic Christmas song “Pasko Na Sinta Ko.”

In a video sent to Philstar.com, the “Bad Genius” star was seen singing Gary Valenciano's hit Christmas song like a Filipino.

A TNT representative told Philstar.com that Nonkul’s performance was unrehearsed and that the star merely tried his best to sing the song. They just sent a YouTube link of the song to Nonkul and let him study it without a Tagalog teacher.

He even sang it in acapella. Regine Velasquez's brother-in-law, Raul Mitra, just added a piano accompaniment and adjusted it to Nonkul’s voice.

Nonkul will be joined by other Thai stars Gulf Kanawut and Mario Maurer in the first ever “TNT Kilig Fest Christmas Special” exclusively for TNT and Smart subscribers in the Philippines this December 28 Tuesday at 7 p.m. on the GigaPlay app.

Hosted by former MTV Asia VJ Utt and directed by Joyce Ramirez, the show is a Christmas treat to all TNT subscribers who are avid fans of the Thai Kilig Trio, giving them the opportunity to get to know the three idols better through performances, interviews, and a fan meet jam-packed with games, prizes and one-on-one Q&As.

“Our subscribers can always rely on TNT when it comes to bringing happiness to more Filipinos. And as we close 2021, we want to reinforce this commitment to gift our customers with a healthy dose of ‘saya’ and ‘kilig’ with the help of our Thai endorsers Mario, Nonkul, and Gulf,” said Jane J. Basas, SVP and head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart.
