Facebook ranks top honeymoon destinations for 2014
MANILA, Philippines – Are you planning for a honeymoon, but you have no idea where to go? Worry no more, because Facebook just made the planning easy for you.
The Facebook Data Team created the top honeymoon destinations in and outside of the US, based on Facebook check-ins and a graph of the median distance traveled by country.
The results showed that couples from South Korea travel the greatest distance to their honeymoon destinations, with a median trip of 4,000 miles away from home. They are followed by couples from Italy, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Australia. Sri Lanka couples traveled the least while couples from the Philippines are also among those who do not travel much.
Most of the destinations, as in 9 out of 10, are beach sites, but still the prominent and lively Las Vegas claimed the top spot.
