Devoted father

Joel Cruz, president and CEO of Aficionado Perfumes and Personal Care, is a devoted father.

A christening ceremony, followed by an elegant reception, was recently held for his youngest sons Zaid and Ziv, who were born four months apart last year.

The christening rites were held at Santuario de San Antonio Parish in Makati City while the English-garden themed dinner was held at the Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La, Manila.

The perfume magnate chose as ninongs and ninangs for his sons his friends from the University of Santo Tomas, as well as the best of the best from the political, business and social sectors.

Godparents Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, Bulacan Rep. Linabelle Villarica and Ricky Davao.

It was a meaningful christening, and one that once again showed Joel’s commitment as a father.
