The Inner Wheel Club of Central Ortigas (IWC-CO) celebrated its 8th anniversary with the induction of its newly elected officers and directors for 2019-2020.

IWC District 380 (D380) chairman Ching Chanyungco inducted the indefatigable IWCCO president and CIE British Schools in Makati, Cebu and Tacloban founder, president and CEO Nelia Sarcol and vice president Minda Pama alongside the club’s newest officers and directors.

With the theme Together We Can, the event emphasized club camaraderie and unity. Newly inducted president Prof. Sarcol announced that one of the centerpiece projects to be done during her term are a library and a clinic as a secure shelter for rescued victims of unlawful online activities.

She ended her inspiring speech by quoting a Japanese poet, Ryunosuke Satoro, “Individually, we are just a drop of water. Together, we are an ocean,” a truly powerful force of Inner Wheel Club members, who can do great things to make the world a better place.
