Achievers in 2019 international pageants

Win some, lose some.

Unlike the golden harvest in previous years, not one of the six major winners in the 2019 Bb. Pilipinas pageant (still incontestably the most glamorous and most prestigious local beauty search) brought home a crown. The best finish was scored by Leren Mae Bautista who placed second runner-up in the Miss Globe pageant. Gazini Ganados (Universe) stopped at Top 20, Bea Patricia Magtanong (International) at Top 6, Emma Mary Tiglao (Intercontinental) at Top 20 and Resham Ramirez Saeed (Supranational) at Top 25 while Samantha Ashley Lo (Grand International) failed to make it to the semis (she got involved in an issue about her passport and dilly-dallied before she came back).

Here’s the result of two other major pageants: Janelle Tee finished at Top 20 (Miss Earth) tilt and Michelle Dee Top 12 in the Miss World.

Although crowned as 2018 Bb. Pilipinas-Intercontinental, Karen Gallman competed in the 2018 Miss Intercontinental and won the title on Jan. 27, 2019, she reigned until Dec. 20 last year. (Note: Gallman was not included in the 2018 achievers published in Funfare on Jan. 24, 2019.)
