Through insightful conversations in Magandang Buhay, every weekday morning becomes meaningful for moms.

Aside from fun, laughter and exciting adventures, the show imparts valuable life lessons daily or what they call pulot of the day that are drawn from the experiences of its guests.

“You can learn a lot from Magandang Buhay and from the pieces of advice they (hosts and guests) give every day. I personally learned about forgiveness and understanding people in your life,” said housewife Marie Dignos.

“It has lessons for single moms like me. They said that we should never lose hope and use our children as inspiration to carry on with life,” said avid viewer Vilma Guerta.

Even hosts Melai Cantiveros, Karla Estrada and Jolina Magdangal learn from their guests and share various pulot that they personally apply in their lives.

“What makes the show beautiful is you get to learn every day. You learn to appreciate what you have more in life and overcome more challenges as well,” said Karla.

Melai, on the other hand, found a deeper meaning in what they are doing in the program when she met a studio audience who related how the show has influenced views in life.

“She is a mother who lost her husband. She was so sad then and she was at a point where she felt her life had no more meaning,” Melai recounted. “By watching Magandang Buhay, she felt inspired to live life again and it sort of energized her.”

In celebration of its second anniversary and to continue to inspire people to live and celebrate life, the show picked two lucky momshies to win two brand-new house and lot from Bria Homes. The winners of the Magandang Buhay, Magandang Bahay promo were Cely Sanchez and Francisca Tinaytina.

Momshie Cely has been renting since she was 17 years old. She worked as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) for more than 20 years, but was not able to build her dream house because all her earnings were used to support her children’s needs and education. Now that she is a proud mom to a nurse, an engineer and an IT specialist, it’s time that Cely finally gets a house she can call her own.

Momshie Francisca, meanwhile, is a mother who has been longing to have a fresh start. In 2013, she lost her son, and then three years after, her husband succumbed to cancer. Though her humble abode in Dumaguete is filled with happy memories, momshie Francisca is still having a hard time to move on because her home reminds her so much of her son and husband. With her new Bria home, she has high hopes that she can face life better now with her two children.

Aside from changing lives by giving away houses, Magandang Buhay also treated 100 families to a fun-filled day full of family bonding activities in Magandang Buhay Fam Day held at Rave Park in Pasig City.

Families participated in a zumba class, fun-run and relay games joined by Kisses Delavin, Isabella Vinzon, DJ Jhai Ho and Alora Sasam.

The anniversary celebration also took viewers to special Cebu and Bohol adventures where momshies showcased exciting spots and attractions.

For two years now, Magandang Buhay has been spreading good vibes and valuable lessons in life to avid viewers. It doesn’t only entertain but also inspires people to do good, persevere in life and remain optimistic amidst struggles.

Magandang Buhay airs Mondays to Fridays, 8 a.m. on ABS-CBN or ABS-CBN HD (Skycable Channel 167).
