The timeless and extravagant Bosendorfer
Manila Pianos Makati was the destination of choice for music lovers, members of the diplomatic corps, and other distinguished members of society for an unforgettable evening of blissful music and fellowship. Under the leadership of Manila Pianos owner Gina Ronquillo, the highlight of the event was the exclusive viewing of 30-50 pianos, from vintage to classic to modern, the centerpiece of which was the Bosendorfer Grand Piano Model 214, the first choice of royalty in the 19th and 20th centuries. The very special grand piano was completely built with “cured” wood, which means it was harvested in the year 1830 and naturally dried in the Bosendorfer yard for 50 years. So unique and one- of-a-kind is this Bosendorfer Grand Piano Model 214 – with its outside remade with 22 carat plated gold and laid in with all original pieces of a giant pearl – that it is worthy of being the centerpiece in a museum, or the prized possession for a piano collector and connoisseur. It was truly a memorable night of friendship and laughter for people who love music. Congratulations to Manila Pianos for a successful event!
