The ladies of the heart of Northern Mindanao

The brightest and most beautiful women of Cagayan de Oro came together for the Miss Cagayan de Oro 2018 coronation night held at The Atrium of Limketkai Center CHIC in Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental. Graced by the presence of Miss Cagayan de Oro 2018 pageant chair- woman and Mags Boutique owner Mags Cue, the pag- eant was the much awaited finale of a series of activities which showcased the girls’ talent, charm, and distinctly Filipina beauty. The lovely winners were Miss Cagayan de Oro 2018 Mary Chris Suico, 1stt Runner Up Anna Grace Alturas, 2nd Runner Up Nina Angelli Bernedo, 3rd Runner Up Claudette Elaco and 4th Runner Up Lovely Jacalan. Congratulations to the new Cagayan de Oro queens!

A celebration of independence

The Embassy of Mexico in Manila recently com- memorated the 208th Anniversary of the Proclamation of the Independence of Mexico at the Diamond Ballroom of the Diamond Hotel in Malate, Manila. Under the astute lead- ership of the Ambassador of Mexico Gerardo Lozano Arredondo and his lovely wife Mariza Arciniega, the celebration was attended by members of the diplomat- ic corps and their spouses. The guests enjoyed a lav- ish spread of well-loved Mexican dishes as well as the delightful camaraderie and stories from ambassador Arredondo’s beloved motherland. Congratulations to the Embassy of Mexico in Manila for a successful Mexican International Day!
