Simple Blends, I.28 Realty rout foes in Hoops Arlon Cup

CEBU, Philippines —  The Simple Blends and I.28 Realty demolished their rivals in Hoop Nation’s Arlon Cup Season 1 over the weekend at City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Jam Ferraren fired 27 points laced with 10 rebounds as Simple Blends crushed the Punisher, 91-71, to tighten its hold of the solo second spot in the East Division with an improved 8-2 win-loss card.

J. Vidal tallied 20 markers but to no avail as the Punisher suffered its sixth loss in nine games.

On the other hand, James Harold Truz piled up 24 points, 10 rebounds and six assists in an all-around hardcourt performance that powered I.28 Realty to an 89-66 thrashing of the Brothers.

I.28 Realty evened its record to 5-5 while the Brothers fell to 3-6.

In the other game, the Trojan Warriors overcame Dextructures, 67-64.

Dandan Javellana finished with 17 points for the Trojan Warriors, who now holds a 6-4 slate. Dextructures further sank to 2-5. — EBV
