Mayor Mike RamaBasketball League on today at CCSI

CEBU, Philippines —  Five teams will slug it out for hardcourt supremacy as the 1st Cebu City Mayor Mike Rama Basketball League 2022 kicks off at 6 p.m. today at the Cebu City Sports Institute in Barangay Sawang Calero.

ARQ Builders and Fighter Fifty banner the list of contenders that also include Deon Motors, Truck N’ Trail Transport, and Artera Builders.

They will play a single round robin, with the top two teams advancing to the sudden-death final match on Tuesday, June 1.

The champion will pocket P200,000, while the second to fourth placers will take home P150,000, P100,000, and P50,000, respectively.

The five-day tournament is fully supported by Cebu City Mayor Mike Rama and vice mayor Dondon Hontiveros in association with the Cebu City Sports Commission through its executive director Amilo Lopez.

All games will be under he supervision of commissioner Atty. Mike Aton. Allen Ceballos and Serapion Cortes form part of the organizing committee. — EBV
