CEPBA posts  win no.8 in HNDL

CEBU, Philippines — The CEPBA ballers trounced Spit On Them, 85-71, in Hoop Nation Developmental League (HNDL)-Sunday Night Hoops Season 2 powered by Sunsport at the City Sports Club-Cebu gym.

Jacob Gaviola cashed in 15 points on top of four rebounds and one block as CEPBA assumed the solo leadership in the North Division with an 8-1 win-loss mark.

Spit On Them fell to fourth with a 5-3 slate.

In the other results, the Central Blockers edged the Unknown, 50-47, while Metro Ayala 2 stunned the previously unbeaten Project Hoops, 75-67.

Ronald Eulo finished with 12 points, six rebounds, and one steal as the Central Blockers evened their record at 5-5 while Ronald Aragon banged in 15 points, five boards, and three dimes for Metro Ayala 2, which improved to 5-4.

The Unknown dropped to 3-4 while Project Hoops saw its rousing 7-0 start come to a sudden red stop. — EBV
