Inigo Pascual cast in a Fox musical drama

STAR CIRCUIT - Ricky L. Calderon - The Freeman

We admire the courage of Ms. Jannilyn Carillon of 3:16 Productions to continue producing movies even during this time of the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic.

Held yesterday at the Dampa Seaside Macapagal Claire Restaurant was the story conference and cast presentation of the new project of the amiable producer titled “Moonlight Butterfly.”

Chosen to play the female lead in the film is newcomer Christine Bermas, the newest talent of Ma’am Len’s 3:16 Productions.

Ma’am Len also produced “Silab,” the controversial debut film of newcomer Chloe Baretto, also a contract star of 3:16 Entertainment.

Featured in “Moonlight Butterfly” are Kit Thompson, Albie Casino, Ivan Carapiet, Jolo Estrada, Quinn Carrillo, Tanya Gomez, Jim Pebanco, Gigo de Guzman and Hershey de Leon.

The script was written by the award-winning Eric Ramos, under the direction of the busiest director in town, Joel Lamangan.

Although cinemas have yet to open, Ma’am Len is not stopping in giving breaks to newcomers whom she has taken under wing as contract stars.

She believes in the talent of her babies that’s why she is not afraid to risk on them.

Actor and singer-songwriter Inigo Pascual has joined the cast of Fox’s upcoming musical drama “Monarch.” He will play the role of Ace Grayson, an adopted son dreaming of becoming a country star who will undergo numerous challenges along the way.

Inigo is known as a recording artist and is a mainstay of  “ASAP Natin ‘To”. His self-titled debut album became number one at Billboard’s Philippines chart. He released his second album titled “Options” last June. He also appeared in a cameo in Jo Koy’s Netflix comedy special “In His Elements.”

“Monarch”, produced and owned by Fox Entertainment, will debut on the Fox Channel come January 30.

Piolo Pascual is his dad but to be fair to Inigo, he worked hard on his own to make a name for himself and did not ride on his father’s popularity to be where he is right now.

Singer-actor Markki Stroem posted a photo of himself in white underwear while waiting for a ride.

The photo is part of a scene from the upcoming BL movie “Love at the End of the World”, written and directed by Shandii Bacolod.

Because of the underwear he was wearing, some netizens got curious and asked if the singer-actor is selling the item and what brand it is. Markki said it is his own brand that he is launching next month and will be available in the market soon.
