GCash mulls expanding pet insurance service

CEBU, Philippines — Financial super app GCash announced the expansion of its pet insurance service, noting positive feedback from Filipinos following the introduction of dog insurance product.

In a press briefing held yesterday, June 27, 2022, officials at Gcash hinted possibilities of extending pet insurance products from dogs, to cats and probably other pets.

The expansion of its insurance products to pets, joins the extensive plan of Gcash to introduce innovative financial solutions particularly to unbanked Filipinos, including the micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, said GCash Chief Customer Officer Winsley Bangit.
