Respecting a friend’s choice

A week before the May 9 elections, a prominent lawyer was heard criticizing the choice for president of a close friend, who was a loyal supporter of frontrunner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

“Suod kaayo mi nga barkada. Pero, My God, dili gyud ko ganahan ana iyang kandidato pagkapresidente,” the lawyer was quoted as saying. “Pero sige na lang, mo-respect lang gihapon ko sa iyang choice kay barkada man.”
