AND THE WINNER IS... Because this is the Philippines, some candidate still buy votes the old-fashioned way; giving out envelopes with money in them.

An EAR source said he got word from his relatives in his hometown that envelopes filled with money have arrived for him --from rival camps running for dominance of the town.

“Nag-abot kuno ang nga sobre sa amo, naa kuno among mga ngan, gikan sa duha ka kandidato,” the source said.
