The time of your life

READER’S VIEWS - The Freeman

There is still so much to enjoy and be thankful for in the midst of the health crisis that struck the country and the world. Do you know that despite the pandemic you can still have the time of your life?

When you wake up in the morning surrounded by your family and loved ones and have breakfast together every day, that’s a good start!

When you still have that job to report every morning with nice people and friends at work who believe in your ability to perform your work well, that’s more than a promotion.

When you inspire others to perform their job much better every day amidst the mountain of challenges with such a sympathetic and compassionate boss that’s the perfect motivation to go on.

When you can still manage your finances, pay the bills on time without standing overhead credit that means you’re in full control. That life of yours has much to commend.

When everyone’s health condition in the family and work is extremely good that’s worth celebrating too.

When you arrive at home from work safe and sound and kids are doing well in school, that’s good news!

When you are at your place of worship and pray together with your family keeping the faith stronger in God that’s a spiritual blessing.

When you are at the table at family dinner together having simple, and healthy food served by your spouse and enjoyed by your children that’s manna from heaven.

Finally, when you are in bed with your endearing partner, your head over his/her shoulder enjoying the pillow talk and the romantic moment regardless of age, that’s heavenly bliss.

If you have any of these, be grateful and appreciative because surely, you have the time of your life!
