DISCREET DISCOUNT. During what was supposed to be Sinulog Grand Parade day last Sunday, a gas station gave “Sinulog discounts” at P5 per liter. While they didn’t officially spread the word for fear of being swamped, many drivers of public vehicles, private cars, and motorcycles were able to avail of it.

“Gihilum-hilom lang, hadlok tingali magpanon ang mga tawo didto,” one driver told The EAR.

However, the discount was only for that day.
