Oh, 2020

From the coronavirus pandemic to the gas explosions in Beirut, 2020 proves to be a year of disasters for the human race. So much so that many just want the year to end, as if disasters cannot happen some other time. But suffice it to say that this year has brought a lot of heartaches and inconvenience to most people.

“When I reach the year 2040,” an EAR informer declared, “I would look back at 2020 with a heavy heart. It was the year that many of my Facebook friends switched their profile photos to black because of a death in the family. It was the year we realized, if we had not, that humans are indispensable.”
