LIQUOR BAN. The EAR overheard this exchange between two friends about the COVID-19 liquor ban.

FRIEND 1: Ngano ila man gi-ban ang liquor karon panahona? Don’t they know people need alcohol?

FRIEND 2: Lain man na imong alcohol, pre.

FRIEND 2: Exactly! There is alcohol for the hands, there is also alcohol for the stomach.
