President Sergio Osmeña’s appointees for Visayas and Mindanao — Part 6
Don Sergio Suico Osmeña Sr., the Grand Old Man of Cebu and who also served as President of the Philippines from August 1, 1944 to May 28, 1946 made the following appointments:
Alfonso L. Penaco as Justice of the Peace of Clarin, Occidental Misamis (the town of Clarin, Bohol is named after Anecito Velez Clarin, the first civilian governor of Bohol who is from the old Parian district of Cebu).
Serapio Dompor as Justice of the Peace of Baliangao, Occidental Misamis.
Eufracio Cajiloc as Justice of the Peace of Lopez Jaena, Occidental Misamis.
Marcelo Valdehuesa as Justice of the Peace of Balingasag, Salay and Claveria, Occidental Misamis.
Santiago B. Mercado as Justice of the Peace of Cagayan, Oriental Misamis.
Cayetano P. Paderanga as Justice of the Peace of Mambajao, Sagay, and Catarman, Oriental Misamis (he belongs to a lawyer clan in Misamis, Cayetano Palarca Paderanga was admitted to the Bar on December 1941).
The other members of the clan were: Consejo, of Mambajao, Misamis Oriental now part of the province of Camiguin: January 28, 1955; Aniano of Mahinog, Misamis Oriental, March 23, 1966; Jorge was admitted to the Bar on February 2, 1951, and Narciso was admitted to the Bar on November 21, 1935.
Agustin Antilion as Justice of the Peace of Talisayan, Gingoog, and Quinoguitan, Oriental Misamis.
Justiniano Borja as Justice of the Peace of Initao, He was admitted to the Bar on January 10, 1938, he served as Mayor of Cagayan de Oro City from 1954 to 1964.
Himerio B. Garcia (admitted to the Bar on August 3, 1945) as Justice of the Peace of Alubijid, Oriental Misamis.
Jose Santo Pido as Justice of the Peace of Oquendo, Tinambac, and Sto. Niño, Samar.
Esteban Ilao as Justice of the Peace of Zumarraga and Sta. Rita, Samar.
Lorenzo Gonzame as Justice of the Peace of Calbayog, Samar.
Tomas V. Sabarre as Justice of the Peace of Calbiga and Villareal, Samar.
