Bato turns into epal after Pacman fight

PAPER COVERS ROCK. Some observers could not help but notice it was former PNP chief Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa who lifted Senator Manny Pacquiao onto his shoulders after he was declared winner in his fight with American boxer Adrien Broner.

“Uy, ang bato nahimo mang papel,” one of them said. Papel or “epal” is street slang for someone who inappropriately presents himself in a situation.

“Modagan baya siyag senador,” another replied.
