Paper bag policy

A VICIOUS (RE)CYCLE. A man went to a store bringing with him a recyclable bag since it was Saturday. When the time came to bag his purchase, he asked the salesgirl to place the items directly into the recyclable bag. But the salesgirl first placed the items into a paper bag before putting this into the recyclable bag despite his protests.

When the man argued he could have saved them a paper bag, the salesgirl insisted it was store policy. The man went away muttering.
