WRONG PRIORITY. An EAR source who works in one of the maritime schools in the city said he is confused by the skewed sense of values and priority some students have.
He said many of them, despite being poor, would choose to spend a lot of money gambling in fairs rather than spending them on much-needed books.
“Ambot lagi, wala ra man nila ang mawagtangan og P300 sa perya, pero kung papaliton og libro mangutang pa sa maestro,” the source said.
