BAIT AND SWITCH. The biggest local news these days is that different barangay captains in Cebu City were bribed to vote certain individuals as Association of Barangay Councils president. However, one barangay captain reportedly questioned why alleged bribe proposals coming from their own candidate was lower than the bribes for captains belonging to the other camp.

Some of his allied barangay captains allegedly joked that they would switch over to the other side so they will be offered a bigger bribe. He said he doesn’t know if they are serious.
