They shared a "true kiss"

NO KISSES HERE.  A member of the media did not immediately understand when a policeman told her two men were involved in a "true kiss".

She wondered how two men could hate each other if they shared a kiss.

It was only later when she learned about the actual word and its meaning. "Trukis" is a Bisayan slang for an altercation. So no kisses were involved at all.
