Shortcut to terror

TAKE THE SCENIC ROUTE. A man got the fright of his life when, upon passing by his old neighborhood, he passed through what he thought was still a shortcut connecting two streets. It wasn’t anymore. Imagine his surprise when he came upon not just a blank wall, but a vicious, snarling dog, obviously a foreign breed.

The shortcut had been turned into a cul-de-sac/private driveway for two houses.

“Ila na lang unta to gisirad-an,” he told The EAR. Apparently, the passageway still looks like a shortcut to the other street.
