CEBU, Philippines - “Kadaugan Street Party” in Lapu-Lapu City, which is on its third year, will be held on April 27 and 28 as a prelude to the yearly celebration of “Kadaugan sa Mactan.”

Councilor Harry Don Radaza said the city will exert all efforts to make the celebration a success.

“I can promise everyone that this year’s celebration of “Kadaugan” is going to be big with lots of surprises. Ang kadaugan ni Lapu-Lapu kay kadaugan sa matag Pilipino,” Radaza said.

With the success of last year’s event, the Lapu-Lapu City Government, with Radaza being the event’s chief organizer, will again hold the “Kadaugan Street Party” that promises to be even bigger and better.

This time around, more bands and live performances, sporting events, great music, delicious food, lots of drinks available and  more fun and surprise activities are expected.

The event will be held at the M. L. Quezon Highway.

The Lapu-Lapu City council allocates funds every year to support the two-day party. (FREEMAN)
