RCBC Gamsi seals No.2 spot

CEBU, Philippines —  The RCBC Gamsi spanked SG5 Madison, 102-91, in the 30-above division of the Amicis Basketball League (ABL) Season 3 at the Cansaga gym in Consolacion.

The vaunted triumvirate of Jay-R Artezuela, Lemuel Malagar, and Franco Te shined brightly for RCBC Gamsi, which clinched the No.2 spot in Bracket A with a 5-1 win-loss mark behind the undefeated Artera Builders (5-0).

Artezuela sizzled with 26 points while Malagar and Te connived for 43 points for RCBC Gamsi.

Dhale Trazona erupted for 33 points while Ian Duaso and Eugene Bataluna combined for 42 points but their efforts proved futile as SG5 Madison fell to 2-3.

In the other games, Level Up Poker edged Lord Vincent, 75-71, while WeCare Transport besTed YYBC, 89-82.

Joseph Gerundio scored 20, Jay-R Yerro tallied 18 markers while Arvin Tolentino added 16 points for Level Up Poker, which ended its elimination round campaign with a 4-2 slate.

ArnEl Momo and Marlon Malagar posted 44 points in between them while Larry Malagar cashed in 16 points as WeCare improved its record to 3-2. — EBV
