Before the hardcourt hostilities, a simple opening opening ceremony will take place at 6 pm.

Architect Josephril Partosa, one of the founding officers of A+EBA, said in a press conference yesterday at Trillis along A. S. Fortuna Street in Mandaue City that a total of 12 teams will be seeing action in the tournament.

These are the Sinclair/UAP-Cebu, Island Premium Paints/UAP-Datu Lapu-Lapu, Build-It/UAP-Sugbu, Trillis/UAP-Metro/Rajah Humabon/Leon Kilat, EGS/CE1, Avantrac/CE2, Dwightsteel /CE3, Golden Hammer /CE4, Paragsa/MEa, CS4/MEb, Fenestram/CompE, and RELLM/EE.

They will play a single round robin, with the top four teams advancing to the crossover semifinals. The winners will then clash for the championship.

Games of the two-month league, which is also supported by Alpha Chrome, Belden, CMI, Phomi, DuraBend, DuraWall, and Metalink, will be played on Fridays and Saturdays, from 6-10 pm. — EBV
