CEBU, Philippines —  Those who want to join the 2023 Cebu Marathon have only until today, November 30, to register.

This as the organizers have decided not to extend the deadline for registration anymore.

So far, a total of 7,273 runners have been enlisted for Cebu’s premiere running event set on January 8 at Cebu-Cordova Expressway (CCLEX).

Close to 2,000 of the registrants will be dealing with the full marathon distance.

The 21K category drew the most number of entries at 3,329. The 10K has 1,517 and the 5K has 509.

Most of the registrants are joining the 21K and 42K as they want to experience firsthand how it is to be running around the iconic CCLEX.

“We met with the CCLEX top officials  last week and are excited to have the runners climb the tallest and longest bridge of the country,” said Cebu City Sports Commission (CCSC) chairman John Pages, one of the event organizers.

Entry fee is pegged at P2,400 for the 42K, P2,200 for the 21K, and P990 for the 5K and 10K.

Race kits can be claimed during the event’s expo on January 4-7, 2023 at a still undetermined venue.
