Tolotolo midgets set up title clash against Garing in Alegado Cup
CEBU, Philippines — The Tolotolo squad clobbered Polog, 114-88, to advance to the midget category A final in the 11th Mayor Teresa “Nene” P. Alegado Fiesta Cup basketball tournament in Consolacion, Cebu.
John Kenneth Bihag glittered with 21 points while Brent Bihag and John Luigie Balaba combined for 23 points for Tolotolo, which will face next a daunting challenge against the twice-to-beat Garing in their championship match.
In SK category B, Tolotolo eliminated Lanipga, 114-88, to book a semifinal ticket.
Stephon Gonzales topscored for Tolotolo with 25 points. He was heavily backed up by Rhanzel Quijano and Jessie Bathan with 20 points each.
On the other hand, Tilhaong ousted Sacsac, 85-77, to proceed into the senior category B semis against Garing.
