Sporting events spice up ZaNorte’s KaSa KaZa Festival
CEBU, Philippines — A series of sporting events are being lined up to spice up this year’s Hudyaka sa Kadaugan sa Katawhan sa ZaNorte or the KaSa KaZa 2022 Festival.
The Kadaugan Run Challenge kicked off the week-long spectacle last Monday morning at the sprawling Zamboanga del Norte Sports Complex in Dipolog City.
It was immediately followed by the beach volleyball competition, which will run for three days at the picturesque Sunset Boulevard in Dapitan.
Today (Wednesday, June 29), the three-day tennis tournament gets underway at the Mibang Country Club tennis courts in Dipolog.
On Thursday (June 30) in time for the formal inauguration of Dapitan mayor-elect Seth Frederick Jaloslos, a Super Kickboxing will take place at the ZN Sports Complex featuring some of the best fighters across the province.
A highly entertaining Night Motocross showdown will then dazzle the people of ZaNorte on Friday, July 1.
Capping off the action-packed sporting extravaganza is the Mountainbike XC Challenge from Dapitan to Dipolog starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, July 2.
On the same day, a live show of GMA-7’s famed Eat Bulaga will serve as an aperitif to the grand inauguration ceremony of Zamboanga del Norte governor-elect Rosalina Jaloslos at 3 p.m. at the ZN Sports Complex. — EBV
