All set for cash-rich 2nd Hinulawan Toledo chessfest

CEBU, Philippines —  Over P100,000 in cash prize is at stake for the winners of the 2nd Hinulawan Toledo Joyful Inter-Cities and Municipalties Chess Tournament slated on May 28-29 at the Toledo City Sports Center.

 Organized by the Toledo City Trojans in partnership with Xignex Digital Solutions, the two-day tilt features the Tatluhan and Kiddies category.

The Tatluhan is for 13 years old and above players with an average National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) rating of 2000, while the Kiddies is for the 12-under age group.

The champion in Tatluhan will pocket P25,000 while the second to fifth placers will pocket P20,000, P15,000, P10,000, and P5,000, respectively. The sixth to 10th will have P3,000 each.

A P2,000 incentive awaits the three board medalists while the top lady team will get P6,000.

On the other hand, the top finisher in the Kiddies division will go home P5,000 richer while the second to fifth will get P4,000, P3,000, P2,000, and P1,000. The sixth to 10th and the top lady performer will grab P500.
