A total of P20,000 in cash prize will be given away to the top finishers of the nine-round Swiss system competition that serves as birthday treat of CEPCA President Engr. Jerry Maratas to the Cebuano chess players.

The champion will pocket P5,000 while the second to fifth placers will take home P3,000, P2,000, P1,000 and P700, respectively. The sixth to 15th will receive P500 each.
