Bradley says Pacquiao has tools to shock the unbeaten Spence

CEBU, Philippines —  Former WBO welterweight champion Tim Bradley said Manny Pacquiao (62-7-2, 39KOs) is capable of stunning the heavily favored Errol Spence (27-0, 21KOs) in their hotly-anticipated megafight two months from now.

Bradley knows Pacquiao from head to foot, having clashed with the only eight-division world champion in history three times in his career.

Bradley won during their first meeting by a highly controversial decision but was beaten to the pulp by Pacquiao in their next two encounters.

With that, he knows very well what kind of a warrior Pacquiao is inside the ring.

Bradley straightforwardly admitted that while he favors the undefeated Spence a little bit, he wouldn’t be surprised at all if the Pinoy ring legend will rock the boxing world.

“I’m going to favor Spence slightly,” said Bradley in a report by Sean Crose of boxinginsider.com.“But I wouldn’t be surprised if Pacquiao could pull it off.”

The 31-year-old Bradley, Pacquiao’s 11 years junior, will defend both his WBC and IBF welterweight titles against the Filipino senator on August 21 at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It will be Pacquiao’s first bout since he eked out a split decision victory over the previously unbeaten American Keith Thurman to seize the WBA ‘Super’ welterweight crown in July 2019.

Pacquiao, 42, has since been stripped of his title for his failure to defend it within the prescribed period but the WBA will most likely reinstate it to make his showdown with Spence a three-belt unification match.
