CEBU, Philippines —  What a weekend it was for Cebu’s pride Orencio James “OJ” de los Santos.

The world’s highest ranked online karateka added two more golds to his treasure vault after reigning supreme in a pair of events for two days in succession.

The 30-year-old De los Santos outperformed the same opponent in Matias Moreno-Domont of Switzerland in dominating both the Euro Grand Prix and the Katana Intercontinental League-Final Four e-tournaments for his 17th and 18th gilts of the year.

Counting his 36-gold haul that installed him as king in the world of online karate last year, De los Santos now has a total of 54 golds.

The two-time Southeast Asian (SEA) Games bronze medalist and outstanding alumnus of PAREF Springdale School also congratulated his students Christina Colonia and John Adonis Colonia for winning silver and bronze medals, respectively, in their categories.

Interestingly, De los Santos achieved his most recent feat on his successful fifth month anniversary stream in Kumu, a Filipino video sharing and e-commerce social networking service owned and developed by Kumumedia Technologies, Inc.

“Not only that, but I had an awesome and successful monthsary stream in @kumuph, ending it with 1M Dias (diamonds),” shared an ecstatic De los Santos on his Facebook page.

“Nowhere to go but forward!” added De los Santos on the heels of his glittering accomplishments. — EBV
