Coach Jeff to grace pilot episode of Philstar.com’s ‘Home Base’ show
CEBU, Philippines — Cebuano basketball skills trainer and coach Jefferson “Jeff” Codera will be gracing the pilot episode of Philstar.com’s newest show “Home Base”.
Set to premiere today, April 10, on Philstar.com’s YouTube and Facebook pages, the show features
Filipino athletes and coaches abroad. They will share their stories, as well as their Philippine lineage and its sporting community.
Codera, who just opened a world-class performance enhancement facility for both aspiring and established ballers at his Therrish Beach Resort in Tabuelan town north of Cebu, is a member of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors training camp. He is also a licensed ‘Gold’ coach of USA Basketball under its Youth Development Program.
The 39-year-old Codera has trained an assortment of collegiate stars, PBA cagers, and national team players who went on to represent their respective countries in international competitions such as his fellow countryman Jeff Chan, Reggie Hearn of the United States, and Adrian Zamora of Mexico.
In the maiden presentation of ‘Home Base’, the Tabok, Mandaue City-native Codera will be joined by Gilas Pilipinas women’s player and incoming US NCAA Division I freshman Ella Fajardo, and Oregon State men’s basketball’s Jarod Lucas.
