Pasigna leads Cebu’s charge in Japan online dancefest

Caecent No-ot Magsumbol - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines —  Young but promising Cebuano dance athlete Prince Jayvey Pasigna caught everyone by surprise after producing four of the nine gold medals won by Dancesport-Team Cebu City in the Japan Online Dancesport Competition recently.

Dancesport-TCC also had three silvers and two bronzes in its medal haul.

Pasigna was extra motivated to give his best after failing to reach his target in the RSV Online Ballroom Dancesport Competition done a day before the Japan virtual tilt where he ended up with only one gold, and two silvers.

Competing mostly against Japanese youngsters, Pasigna swept the golds in the junior boys division’s  waltz, tango, jive and chachacha.

Interestingly, these were the same events that Pasigna competed in the RSV Online.

In the distaff side, Trixie Pearl Dicdican bagged two golds via the rhumba and jive, while Pauline Venice Duba came up with a gold and a silver

DTCC’s other golds were turned in by Paul Corpus, and Ranmarie Princess Escuadro.

Princess Jamae Moreno contributed one silver and a bronze, Rodrigo Emmanuel Teves took a silver, while Arrianne Generalao chipped in bronze.
